Join us and guest speaker Jim Prescott.
Jim Prescott is a retired fisheries researcher with experience spanning the east coast of the US, Hawaii, several of the island nations in the southwest Pacific, and Australia. Jim’s presentation will be a window on what has been termed by one academic “Australia’s first modern industry”, the people behind the boats and what keeps them afloat on some of the last sailing fishing vessels still active on today’s seas.
Cost $50 per person for lunch which includes limited bar paid by CBA for a short time, then a cash bar
Guests are also welcome to simply attend the talk from approx. 11am and book in for lunch.
