Would you like to go sailing with the VIS?
The Victorian Institute of Sport in conjunction with Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club would like to invite to you apply to spend the weekend sailing with us!
The VIS CUP will be a 2v2 team racing event where the VIS sailors will battle it out to become the best of the best! They don’t want to do it alone, so they would like to see if you are interested in crewing for them.
Attached is the application for where we would like to get to know a bit more about you and your sailing. If successful we will be inviting you to join one of our skippers in competing in the VIS CUP.
If you are unsuccessful, don’t worry there will be plenty more opportunities in the future as we work on strengthening our relationship with the sailing community. We do invite you and your sailing friends to come and spectate the event and meet our VIS sailors and coaches.
When: 18th & 19th March 2023. Please note the 18th will be an afternoon start following school team racing.
Cost: $50 – (If you are invited and enter the VIS Cup)

Selection criteria: Junior sailors or juniors with some sailing experience
